I am officially going to start working on my blog. I hope to become a more consistent and dedicated blogger!

She's a month old!

My Baby turned a month old this Saturday. Heartbreaking. Before we know it she'll be walking then wanting to date! Time is flying but this is the most exciting thing ever. We love being parents more than anything. Here are a couple pictures taken over the last month. Enjoy!

Peytonn Lee has arrived!

Our baby girl is finally here! After 9 months of waiting, Peytonn arrived Saturday February 20, 2010 at 1:10p.m. She weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 20 inches long. Niether of us ever imagined how that moment would feel. We both just stared in awe as the nurse cleaned her up, took her vitals and then wrapped her up and placed her on my tummy.

I haven't kept up on posting because I never thought I had anything worthwhile to blog about. But now that I have Peytonn everyday is worth writing about! I'm making it my goal to keep everyone updated on our wonderful life as a family. I'll post more soon!

After many months of putting it off I'm now going through my parent's belongings. I found these beautiful pictures of Mom and I a few years back. Mom wanted to get them done so that I would have them when she left. She was always thinking ahead!

Of course, the first box I opened had a surprise for me. A bag of children's books for her grandchildren. I laid on the floor and read every one of them. Thanks to her and her foresight, I have a closet full of baby clothes, and now books.

I miss her so much, but I know that she's here and she's telling me it's ok.
